Voices from the system

Dialogue across the development ecosystem to surface lived experience and practice-based insight.

Listening to practice. Learning from experience.

Conversations for Change is a dialogue space within PRA that brings together insights from across the development ecosystem through individual conversations, roundtables, and multi-level dialogues with practitioners, system leaders, influencers, and other actors. It is designed to surface lived experiences of development practice, explore emerging challenges, and reflect on how decisions, partnerships, and accountability are shaped in real contexts.

This space focuses on generating insight from practice—capturing how people navigate complexity, negotiate constraints, and interpret reform efforts in their everyday work.

The insights gathered through these engagements contribute to a deeper, system-wide understanding of development practice, highlighting recurring patterns, tensions, and emerging shifts. In doing so, Conversations for Change supports PRA’s broader purpose of connecting reflection with practice, and bringing diverse voices into a shared process of learning and sense-making across the ecosystem.
