The PRA Annual Gathering is a space for reflection, dialogue, and collective imagination on the future of development and philanthropy. Guided by this year’s theme, “Partnerships in Practice,” the gathering explores how partnerships are experienced, negotiated, and shaped in real-world development contexts, and what it takes to move toward more equitable, locally led, and solidarity-based approaches.

This year’s gathering will also mark two key milestones: the launch of the “Partnerships in Practice” modular Unlearning Curriculum (3 modules), and the launch of the “Towards Kindred Partnerships” Report and framework, which reimagines partnership as a more relational, trust-based, and power-conscious practice.

Through conversations, shared learning, and collaborative unlearning, the gathering brings together practitioners, funders, researchers, and community actors to surface insights that can inform more just, effective, and locally grounded development partnerships.
