Welcome to the solidarity Network

Relationships that move more than money. The Solidarity Network brings together CBOs, funders, INGOs, practitioners, advisors, and allies committed to building a more relational way of working. We connect resources, expertise, relationships, and contextual knowledge through trust, reciprocity, accompaniment, and shared learning—creating practical ways for people across the ecosystem to resource, learn, collaborate, and change practice together.

What happens in the Network?

🤝 Accompaniment: CBOs access tailored practical support and peer learning. Funders can also access reflective accompaniment to examine and strengthen their own grantmaking practice.

đź’° Solidarity Fund: Catalytic, flexible financing for community-rooted initiatives and partnerships experimenting with more locally led and equitable approaches.

🧠 Giving Beyond Money: Members contribute time, expertise, relationships, and knowledge through relational philanthropy—sharing what they can without turning solidarity into another transaction.

đź”— Partnerships & Collaboration: We create intentional connections between CBOs, funders, INGOs, practitioners, and other allies around shared purpose and complementary strengths.

Why Solidarity?

We believe changing development practice requires more than changing where money goes.

It requires changing how relationships work—who gets to decide, whose knowledge counts, how risk is understood, and whether resources strengthen agency or create dependency.

The Solidarity Network is a space to practise that differently.

Trust over transaction.
Reciprocity over extraction.
Accompaniment over prescription.
Context over assumption.
Agency over dependency.
